Hi zone of tech, my iPhone 12 pro is giving noisy blotches in the background of all photos, all lens even after ios 14.3. Foreground is fine, especially on night mode, but zooming in even a little on the background shows crazy 'blotches' (not small grains). Have you experienced such artifacts /noise in indoor photography??

Amazing and thorough review! I bought the 12 Pro last week and I do want to point out a couple of things: 1. For some reason I feel like it is muchhh heavier than the iPhone 4 and 5 despite that it's thinner, I'm coming from Pixel 3 that I've used for 2 years and the weight change is definitely noticeable, even my wrist and little finger hurts after holding it a while haha. 2. In my experience so far, my batter lasts much longer than what you say... almost 3 days for me! And I do use consistently throughout the day Whatsapp, social media and mild web browsing (it does get to 70% at end of 1st day, then it goes up to 20% on the second day, and there's still enough juice for the 3rd day in the morning!). Perhaps that's because my model doesn't have the 5G antenna, which I'm happy to not have it anyway. In terms of iOS... I had to get accustomed back to the Apple's way of doing things, but I do miss the Always on Display feature, and an actual usable Do Not Disturb mode... in Android, once activated, it would pause all notifications, whereas on iOS with DND on, I still see notifications popping on lock screen, the notif panel and even the red badges... not very useful imo.

Im not sure but iPhone X glass was terrible and so easily to break. And they keep saying stronger and stronger glass. Well I know my iPhone 11 was good until one day when I thought it wasn’t broken. The back was shattered like what I dropped it in worse angles. Hope the 12 is better.

Yeah I bought the one plus 7 pro because I couldn't wait anymore from apple to change the front. The xs max that I've had for 2 years as a back up because Apple it's very good with support.

Coming from a XS, my 12 Pro is leaps and bounds better mainly in the camera department and that’s why I bought it. I do agree that the MagSafe thing is a good idea as it develops further along but right off the bat it isn’t perfect. The 2020 iPhones are more about future proofing than anything
Did you seriously just compare the 11 pro max with a 12 PRO? The max(s) since the 11 pro lineup has always had better battery life which is something you, i’m sure are aware of.

I think finger print ID should be brought back as the issue of trying to use Apple pay with a face mask whilst trying to pay is a hassle in this pandemic period😷 The express option is a security hazard. I’m an over two decade Apple Tribesman but the Android phones seem better value in this day an age. Apple being a modern luxury item is a myth as tech! products become obsolete by the time they hit the market. No doubt apple products might be more reliable aside from pricy but, there’s room for minor tweaks to bring the iPhone 12 pro max up to date. The Fingerprint ID bring one of them...🤔

Any usb charger will work and most people will have them, the only people who won’t have one is someone who’s never owned a mobile phone, what you will need though would be a usb-c to USB converter to use any charger.

Okay I took 12 pro to 5g coverage was trouble, the speeds was slower than LTE speeds, I decided return 12 Pro , I switch back 11 pro. Apple needs improve more support on 5g

iphone 11 pro users will feel cheated not bringing the software update for the ultra-wide night photography and forcing them to upgrade or buy new phone for that feature. yeah I do agree the power of the chip that iphone 12 has is not getting used the most potential for the high refresh rate screen.

Don't regret it! If you care about camera quality, the Pro is the best choice. If you look at the reviews of the Max, most people say that the slight improvements in the camera are outweighed by its disadvantages. You chose well! (Six weeks with my 12 Pro, and still loving it!)
